Hi,

This site is really good.

I think the polls are really nice – very general and up-to-date.

Keep up the good work!

Jim

Hey,

Super blog.

Can you put a poll up about favourite animals? I love animals 🙂

Thank you very much

4. Paulie - November 30, 2009

Polls are always a good way to take your mind off stuff aren’t they?!

Could do with some pictures though, if that’s possible?

5. Johnny - November 30, 2009

9. Frank Mulligan - December 1, 2009

Keep up the good work! Fantastic site. I would like to know what you are doing with all this information? Perhaps you could let us know on your next post?

thepollpage - December 1, 2009

Hi Frank,

Every time you fill out a poll, I will be able to see the results. The results, of course, are anonymous – so I will never know who has voted for each answer.

The information collected won’t actually be used for anything at the moment. But in the future, companies may wish to use this information for their market research – and if that is the case, I will have to add a disclaimer to the site stating this.

But, in the meantime, the polls you answer are just for fun, and allow you to have your voice heard!

Thanks,

Pete

Hi,

I’m Martene.

This blog is swell, I think it’s a really good idea, and I agree with sullivanrose.

Keep up the good work! And I’ll keep coming back to answer your polls.

Keep the Poles coming!

12. crystlclrlui - January 12, 2010

This is a really good idea, a bit of fun and always interesting to see how they went. Maybe add some polls on books in the future?

13. crystlclrlui - January 17, 2010

Thanks for dropping by. I noticed a lack of polls on books and since i love books and so do many others found it strange that it’s not included. I like reading a range of literature, from the classic to the contemporary though i admit i’ve read more of the former.
We could have general polls like, which genre people read more of or prefer and which authors they like best. More specific polls could be done on popular contemporary books out right now, asking if people who are reading them what their response is; ranging from spectularly good to awfully bad. Another idea for a poll would be to link it to films, asking if people preferred the film or the original novel. I know many films spring from novels so just thought this would be a good idea. These are just a few ideas from the top of my head though it seems like i’m writing an essay. lol. Anyways, keep up the good work!

hahaha, i’m new to the whole blogging thing so haven’t really looked at the other parts of it. Thanks for the heads up though.

As to your question, you should know better! lol, fav book of all time?! That’s hard and never thought about it…………nope, still can’t pinpoint it. I have many favourites if that helps. I’ve recently finished reading Brisingr, which is the third book of Paolini’s Inheritance cycle. Can’t wait for the fourth and final book. I’m hunting for Lovely Bones which apparently I had years ago but stopped reading because it kinda scared me. lol. Now its made into a film, i feel i should try it again. Anyways, rambling again! Hope YOU are well.

You can never have enough blogs…i think. lol. I might just check out ‘fear of flying’ since you say it’s unexpectedly good. I also picked up a book ages ago and found it a quirky but funny book to read. Can’t remember the title of the book since it was awhile ago but when i do, i will tell you! I remember the cover had donuts on it.
I’m also a big fan of Roald Dahl! I also love Jacquelin Wilson books though haven’t read her newer ones, I only remember her old ones.

And about the editing, i’m very new to it so don’t think i could go into freelancing. I’m looking for training, internships, that kind of thing right now to see if im right for it. I’m one of those deal with the present kind of people and because of that never did much thinking or training into what kind of career path i wanted.

Interested to see what your ‘thoughts’ are on your future new blog. Keep at it fellow blogger.

Nice page Pete.

Keep up the good work. I think the polls on debt and money are very relevant at the moment – well done!

Frank

Thanks, that’s a good idea. Will look around for stuff like that. and what do you mean era/decade? lol, like age because I only graduated last summer (you can work it out) 😛 . As to what kind of gamer I am, I play all kinds, have a ds, psp, ps2 (tho wud like a ps3 because of final fantasy 13). I’m a big fan of final fantasy, also like sims, had da original to the latest one out now which is sims 3. I also like mmorpgs and was playing Aion couple months back when it was at beta and could play the retail but I’m afraid i’ll be become addicted to it and not do anything else. It’s a danger of gaming, spend hours n hours on it and it’s never enough. lol. Well, how about you? Same questions back to you.
